This grade possesses excellent mechanical strength, with a tensile strength of approximately 800 MPa and a yield strength of 550 MPa, with 25% elongation. Its density is around 7.8 g/cm³, and melting point is approximately 1350°C. Its dual-phase (austenitic-ferritic) microstructure provides excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking—particularly in chloride-rich environments, making it the best choice for harsh operating conditions.
