Stainless Steel 316Ti Nuts consist of nearly 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum with the addition of titanium (0.5-1.0%) to provide resistance to intergranular corrosion. The alloy also has minimal amounts of manganese, silicon, and carbon. Mechanically, 316Ti has superior tensile strength of nearly 520 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. It shows superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and oxidation and is thus suitable in high-temperature and corrosive conditions.
