Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Nuts consist of about 17% chromium, 7% nickel, 1% aluminum, and minute amounts of elements such as carbon, manganese, and silicon, balanced with iron. These nuts possess superior mechanical properties with a tensile strength of up to 1300 MPa and yield strength of about 1100 MPa following heat treatment. They possess high hardness, fatigue strength, and low distortion. Physically, the nuts are 7.8 g/cm³ in density and have a melting point ranging from 1404–1440°C. These characteristics render them suitable for application in high-stress, corrosion-susceptible environments.
