These fasteners provide good mechanical strength with a tensile strength of up to 1300 MPa and a yield strength of about 1100 MPa upon heat treatment. They show superior hardness, fatigue life, and low distortion. Physically, they are 7.8 g/cm³ dense and have a melting point range of 1404–1440°C. They exhibit an optimal balance of strength and corrosion resistance that suits them for high-end applications.
