SS 17-4 PH Stud Bolts consist of iron with 15–17.5% chromium, 3–5% nickel, 3–5% copper and trace amounts of elements such as niobium, manganese, and silicon. These bolts exhibit outstanding mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of up to 1310 MPa and yield strength of about 1170 MPa in the condition H900. They possess high hardness, fatigue strength, and toughness. Physically, they have a density of 7.75 g/cm³ and a melting range of around 1400°C. Their strong properties render them ideal for applications in harsh, high-stress, and corrosive environments.
