All this composition creates an excellent pitting resistance, crevice corrosion resistance, and stress-corrosion cracking resistance. Mechanically, the nuts contain tensile strength of approximately 690 MPa and a yield strength of about 283 MPa. They also consist of excellent elongation and ductility. Physically, Hastelloy C22 is effective at high temperatures and resists highly corrosive environments while keeping its integrity intact, providing lasting, secure fastener performance.
