Hastelloy Bolts consist mainly of nickel (max. 60%), molybdenum (13–17%), iron, chromium, and traces of cobalt, tungsten, and carbon. In terms of mechanical properties, they possess tensile strength of about 690–760 MPa and yield strength of about 283 MPa. They also exhibit high ductility and resistance to stress-corrosion cracking. Physically, Hastelloy is structurally stable at temperatures of up to 1040°C and provides excellent corrosion resistance in both acidic and oxidizing media, with a long service life under harsh conditions.
