Duplex Steel S31803 Fasteners contain 22% chromium, 5-6% nickel, 3% molybdenum, and nitrogen, with an austenite-ferrite balanced microstructure. This composition provides excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, especially in chloride-containing environments. S31803 fasteners, mechanically, have a tensile strength of 620-850 MPa and yield strength of around 450 MPa. They also have very good impact toughness and fatigue life. These properties make S31803 fasteners extremely suitable for aggressive applications in the chemical, offshore, and marine industries to supply long-term durability in aggressive conditions.
