Copper Nickel 90/10 stud bolts consist of 90% copper and 10% nickel. With minor additions of iron and manganese to provide strength and corrosion resistance. They have very good mechanical properties, such as a tensile strength of 275–400 MPa, yield strength of 69–135 MPa, and good elongation and ductility. Physically, they possess a density of 8.89 g/cm³ and a melting point of approximately 1100°C. They are also characterized by high thermal and electrical conductivity and excellent resistance against seawater corrosion and biofouling and are therefore used in marine, offshore, and chemically harsh environments.
