Copper Nickel 90/10 Bolts consist of 90% copper and 10% nickel, with minor additions of iron and manganese to increase strength and corrosion resistance. They possess good mechanical properties. Such as a tensile strength of 275–400 MPa and a yield strength of 69–135 MPa, with good elongation and ductility. Physically these bolts have a density of 8.89 g/cm³ and a melting point of approximately 1100°C. They also possess very good thermal and electrical conductivity, as well as very good resistance to seawater corrosion and biofouling, making them very well-fitted for use in marine and industrial sectors.
