Copper Nickel Washers consist mostly of copper (Cu) and nickel (Ni), usually a 90/10 or 70/30 mixture. This alloy has outstanding corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and has high strength, thermal conductivity and resistance to oxidation. The 90/10 grade has a tensile strength of around 550 MPa and good ductility, while the 70/30 type exhibits increased resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. These washers are suited for marine, chemical and high-temperature use, guaranteeing performance and longevity.
