Duplex Steel Screws are composed of a combination of stainless steel and nickel alloys containing 22% chromium, 5% nickel, 3% molybdenum, and nitrogen for further strength. It possesses higher pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking resistance and hence is used for severe environments. Its mechanical properties include yield strength 450 MPa, tensile strength 620 MPa, and elongation 25%.
