On a mechanical basis, they possess high tensile strength (690–760 MPa), high elongation, and good fatigue life. Physically, Hastelloy fasteners are stable at high temperatures (up to 1040°C) and show excellent resistance in acidic and oxidizing conditions and are thus perfect for corrosive and high-stress applications.
