Stainless Steel 316Ti Fasteners consist mainly of iron, 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and 0.5-1.0% titanium. Titanium addition improves resistance to sensitization and weldability. Mechanical properties consist of tensile strength of around 570 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa and elongation of 40%. Having a hardness of as much as 217 HB, these fasteners possess superior corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride environments, with good resistance to high temperature and pitting and crevice corrosion.
