Stainless Steel 316 Washers consist mainly of iron with 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel and 2-3% molybdenum, providing greater corrosion resistance, particularly against chlorides. They have excellent mechanical properties such as a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa. SS 316 washers have a high melting point of about 1400°C and good elongation (40%), providing higher strength, toughness, and durability and are well suited for tough marine, chemical, and industrial uses.
