ASTM A193 B7 nuts are produced from a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel with 0.30-0.60% carbon, 0.90-1.20% chromium, and 0.15-0.25% molybdenum, and traces of manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and silicon. The nuts possess excellent mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 125 ksi (860 MPa) and a yield strength of 105 ksi (725 MPa). They possess excellent corrosion, heat, and mechanical resistance, making them a good choice to be used for high-temperature and high-pressure services. ASTM A193 B7 nuts are strong and trustworthy in severe industrial environments with 285-341 HB hardness.
