These contents give superior resistance to pitting, intergranular attack, and stress-corrosion cracking. They have a tensile strength of about 690 MPa and yield strength of 310 MPa mechanically. They have an elongation capacity of 30–40%. Physically, Incoloy 825 is thermally stable, has a melting point of around 1400°C, and is very resistant to wear in oxidizing and reducing environments.
